This legendary strain is surrounded by mystery, with its origin and name is still unknown to this day. There is a claim that the strain is a cross between Chemdawg and Hindu Kush, or that is comes from an undocumented bag of seeds from some other existing strain.

The name is also debated, with some saying the OG stands for “Original Gangster” referring to its old school nature or “Ocean Grown” which is in reference to its origin along the California coast.
